According to the powers that be at Coney Island USA, "there are less than 50 tickets for the 2nd showing!"!

This means that at 110 tickets to start, it is more than half sold-out, with but 10 days to go!

my last report was that there were only between 5 and 10 tickets left

with a week to go, my confidence is high that both shows will be completely sold out!

Hi Everyone

Matt Beckoff writing. I am organizing the event in Coney, I also manage many of The Warriors. Sorry, I didn't get on here sooner, I have been busy. I noticed a bunch of things on here that are not accurate. I won't pick through them all but just want to make some stuff clear. One is that Michael Beck WILL be there. I saw on here someone said he wouldn't be. The only one not going from NJ as of now is DVV (Mercy) and that is because its her Birthday. I hope she changes her mind last minute and joins us. Also, some other things I wanted to point out are. That no Video is allowed inside the building. You can shoot video during the signing but inside there is no filming. You can take photos from a regular camera during the Q and A only. We hope people do not try and be slick filming from what looks like a digital camera. We have done a ton of work to make this run as smooth as possible and hope fans do not violate what we ask of them nicely. Those who are caught filming inside(We will have A LOT of security there) will be asked nicely to leave the event. Also there are No Big Bags allowed inside for security reasons. There will be a place to leave your bags inside the museum. Please keep in mind you should leave valuables at home, i.e video cameras, ipods things like that. The neighboorhood is pretty safe and as I said there will be security and lots of people near the museum. The train stop is only a block away. As far as venturing off 30 blocks, thats your call. Not ours. But, need not worry. One thing I do want to point out is I do not recommend wearing your gang outfits to far from where the event is happening. You don't want to step on other peoples turf. Kinda of a joke, but, also not too much. Just keep it in mind. That is all I can think of right now. Oh, autographs, autographs from each Warrior are going to be $20.00 per signature. So figure you want a DVD signed by the cast from Coney it will be $120.00 to get all 6. They will have photos for sale. Also a limited number of DVDs and Posters will be available inside.  Please leave any questions here for me and I will do my best to answer them before the event. I really look forward to seeing all of you guys and want you to know its because of you guys, I decided to put this together. So, this night really belongs to you Boppers. Come out to play Coney Island 2009!! Can you dig it?

Hey Matt - great job thus far, with two filled-to-capacity shows!

Considering that one show was added rather late in the game, all the more impressive for our "little" movie of a New York that might have been...

And, as it's, overall, for a fund-raising/charity event, all the better!

What is your involvement with the Super Mega Show?

Their website ( http://www.supermegashow.com/ ) is somewhat lacking in detail; are there planned events, or will the cast mostly be manning autograph tables?

Also, the Super Mega Show’s Saturday hours are set to end at 7:00, but that would not leave the cast enough time to be chauffer-driven limousined… err, I mean BOP their way to Coney by 7:30…

Do you know what the plan for that is?

We are filming it. For what, we do not know now. Maybe a fan DVD for distribution online. We do not know for sure. That is one of the reasons why we ask that fans please do not film the event and respect that.

The autograph signing starts at 7:30 pm. you can line up as early as you like. Though, I think getting there 6 pm is your best bet. It could be hot. If it is too hot we are going to have the signing inside. right now it is going to take place in a parking lot directly across the street. Its perfect for a nice day.

No suprise guests, and if there were would I really tell you?

The megashow is JUST a signing. No other events are planned there other than autographing.

Believe it or not, I didn't even think to place a few tickets on the side for myself! So, sadly, I can not help fill your request with an additional ticket. But, looking foreward to seeing you in Jersey.

As I see it, there are two (possibly three) opportunities, for all of us to converge for photos and tall tales (or whatever you crazy kids do these days!)

The reason I say possibly is because timed events often don't end exactly in time

So, onto my proposal:

Since we're all headed to Coney at some point, that is my recommendation for where we should gather

Exactly where and when? Well, the events lend themselves to:

outside Sideshows By The Seashore on West 12th street

Why? cuz that's where the free-to-the public signing is taking place!

According to Matt, if plans need to change, they “are going to have the signing inside”

If that’s the case, then we’ll hold our gathering inside

When, then? As inferred, I see three times as likelier than others:

6:30 PM: This is well before the signing starts, and will allow us to secure line positions if needed

11:10 PM: This is between the events, which makes it the iffiest

1:20 AM: After all the events have settled, who couldn’t possibly want a Nathan’s hot dog?!

ALL TICKETS FOR THE CONEY ISLAND EVENTS ARE SOLD OUT. TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD DAY OF AT THE DOOR. NO MORE TICKETS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE 35 ANNIVERSARY!
