Re: Hidden Metaphors?
First time I've read this topic and it is awesome. I've learned quite a bit about a movie I have been watching for 26 years. The graveyard scene is the only one I picked up after all this time. Thanks boppers.

Re: Hidden Metaphors?
Two things I'd like to add on this topic:
1) When you see the Chase sign at the beginning of The Furies chase, the walk signal is steady on DON'T WALK for The Furies. Not sure if it means anything because it's on WALK for The Warriors.
2) At the 96th station, after Ajax kicks the cop down the stairs, watch as Swan, Snow, Cowboy and Ajax make their way through the station. As the camera pans the cops and follows them, a number 4 sign posted on a fence appears, a possible metaphor for the four Warriors.

Re: Hidden Metaphors?
old topic but a good one. Anyway I thought that it was interesting that 96 street station was used because 9 warriors started and 6 finished. Also there is a scene with the orphans where they are on top of a "greeting" card store or something. Finally, the scene where swan is heading back to the station and you see 1-2-3 by the subway entrance and at that point ajax gets caught and there is just the three warriors: Swan, Cowboy and Snow.

LOL..... boy, this is gettin' heavy! Youse 're getting me thinking of watching it again.
Now, what about that wooden fence Ajax punches through after the shooting? "WALTER" was sprayed on it. Since things turned sour between T. Waites and W. Hill, maybe Fox should have punched through instead? Nah, Fox wasn't a heavy, so how could we do this? Ajax picks Fox up and uses him as a battering ram. (sorry, Fox)

Re: Hidden Metaphors?
Looking at the DJ's reel-to-reel tape player, you see "The Scott Show" on one of the reels.
I looked through the credits and found a Jeffrey Scott, who played in the prom couples (was probably the one who was also a gang member at the conclave, so someone says). Before, I was guessing it was someone in the crew.

Re: Hidden Metaphors?
You've reminded me of an old thread from about four years ago. Theres a couple of scott show theories in this one. http://warriorsmovie.co.uk/forum/http://warriorsmovie.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=63756#p63756canyoucount wrote: Looking at the DJ's reel-to-reel tape player, you see "The Scott Show" on one of the reels.

God, this movie is jam-packed with details I'm still missing, no matter how many times I watch it!
