why cleon choose swan....not ajax????

first of all ajax,aint stupid,luther stupid..ajax yo hes just naturally straighttrakwool hunter,hotheaded n ready to face challenge, knowwonder doug,h had a hard time time searchin his character! come to think about it,das a preety big task to wanna become leader,whoop ass,chase wool, n get home, you know ajax wouldve probably seperated from the crew n caused everyone to scatter one by one back to coney,so cleon bein da leader knew of dangers n what might happen so him bein warchief had to have his soldiers ready he couldnt of been any stronger wiser of a leader.forever free.

My 2 cents, and I agree many of you guys!!!
So I undertsand who likes ajax, but Swan is a Perfect Leader!!! The LEADER!!!
The point is: if Swan wasn't a good fighter, I mean only a "STRATEGIC" (and anyway it's enough!!!) man... maybe ajax...
... but ajax was ONLY an excellent fighter (and anyway it's not enough!!!). So, if he was the War Chief, The Warriors would of died in the Turnbulls turf!!!

I think it was because Ajax was too hotheaded. he would of wanted to wreck every body they met on the way back to Coney. Swan was a lot more calm and collected and could keep his head in dangerous situations which is why he was chosen to lead.

Cleon choose Swan beacuse he's smarter then Ajax in lot of things and decisions. Swan didn't risk his life, he and other warriors has running to saved their life. But when Ajax would be warchief, he would always fighting with other gangs on the way to C.I.

Ha ha, must be one of the easiest questions to answer.

Ajax is a great character, but he wasn't leader material, it would have got messy with him in charge, would have been great to watch though in an alternate version of the movie!!

Everyone seems to think Ajax was the tough guy of the gang, I think Cleon, Snow or Swan could have held their own with him.
