Voice Actors

Is there any word on who'll be doing the Warriors voices?

I was hoping Rockstar would ask the original actors, but to be honest, James Remar's voice is sounding a little rougher these days. less cool.

Im not sure if he would, IMO.
what im thinking is they'll use no name voice actors, who'll just try to match the original actors voices. and for any historic lines, they'll just use samples from the movies.

There's one voice actress I know of, her name's Giselle loren, she's done VO's for Buffy videogames, she's awesome. She'd make a good Mercy, or maybe the female cop.

not that it has much to do with this game, but EA's "the Godfather" is using alot o the orginal actors to be the voices for the game.....of course the two godfathers from the movie i doubt will voice....pachino and brando wont be in it for clear reasons....well brando anyway.......but the point is....maybe we will get some of the orginal people in this one. but its easy to sample for this game, for things like the gang speach and stuff.....guesswe are gonna have to wait and see. i hate when games based on movies dont have people that at least sounds like the guys from the movie...the BAD BOY II game was horrible for that reason.....HORRIBLE!

Actually, I remember reading that Brando had recorded dialogue for the game before he died. I know I'm at least looking forward to that game moreso than the upcoming Scarface one. It looks better to me anyway...

Of course, The Warriors game is the one that I'm truly obsessing over.

i dont really like the look of Scarface, personally.
but id love to play The Godfather, hopefully it'll be as good, or better than Mafia.

Yeah, Scarface looks really uninspired and derivative to me, and the developer has a crappy track record.

If EA can make a Godfather game that's better than Mafia, I'll buy two copies.

ya im lookin forward to the godfather. the new stuff i was reading about scarface makes it look a lil better.....of course, with vice city out thats based on it in a hard way who knows how good scarface could be. i remeber the orginal screens for it looked horrible, the new ones look a little better. they did push it back tho so maybe that will help....

I can imagine the actors for whome The Warriors was their only movie would be happy to do the acting, and I can see Michael Beck doing it to. james Remar may need some convincing. Marcelino Sanchez's voice-alike will probably be really high pitched because everyone remembers Rembrandt being a lot more wimpy that he is...
