WARRIORS PATCHES

Post by LIER ONE »

With the 30th anniversary of THE WARRIORS coming up, PARAMOUNT licensing is offering licenses for merchandise. We already know about the COMIC from DABEL, The COSTUMES from TOYNK, T-SHIRTS from 80’s TEE and the line from ECKO. I am a manufacturer of PATCHES and contacted them to produce licensed replica patches. I heard back from them today and they are contacting TOYNK since they have patches on the backs of the COSTUMES, to see if they would be producing JUST PATCHES. I feel it is time that we had real licensed replica patches for all the gangs. I would be hopefully selling them at retail (HOT TOPIC, SPENSERS etc) as well as on-line. I will keep you guys posted. Altogether they sound very interested on promoting the 30th anniversary.

Thats good news.  If it means paramount will make some cash out of it, then I cant see why they will say no.
Would Rockstar need to give permission as well, being that they reinvented and created some gang colors which are genrally associated with certain gangs (ie high hats, hurricains etc).  Stick to the warbird and see how it sells before you decide on anymore designs.
I own 2 sets of patches. A warriorcleon set which is top notch but too small to wear; and a second set I got from A1 thats attached to the vest (the design leaves a lot to be desired, but not as bad as mark 1 mondotees), so i'll be loking to get a decent full sized set somewhere down the line.
