Hey, thanks Lippy! I've actually known about that one for a while, but now, I want it. It seems like the last good gang movie I don't own :D!

I cant believe youve missed this classic off your list; especially with the member who started this thread shares the same name....

Death Wish (particually part 3).  Once again, its another new york classic.  The giggler was my favourite gang member. Gotta love that Jimmy page guitar riff.

O.K, im scraping the barrel here; what about breakin 2: Electric boogaloo.  Untill a few years ago, every film that featured a scene with nunchakus, the scene was edited out for the UK market (even first turtles movie).  This was one of the very small number of films that the scene slipped thru the cencors.

yeah street soldiers is great, i saw this not long after i saw warriors for the first time but warriors is 10 times better, and to all potential buyers it even comes with a reversable cover so you can have your favourite gang on the front....and as for ememy territory, Lippy showed me this one and i loved it even found my own copy in a car boot sale!!

Blood in blood out:bound by honor and assualt on precint 13 are a couple of my favorites also.Colors was an entertaining film but a poor gang film in my opinion. They hyped it up as the 2nd coming of the Warriors and it didnt deliver- and couldnt be taken seriously-Rico suave, the red haired guy from cant buy me love,a wayans brother in diapers...............

although the warriors is an all time great id have to say i like mobster movies better than any other gang movie unless they are bad but when I saw the godfather I thought it was the best mobster film ive seen.
the godfather is the best its good to see what the mafia life was like.

Switchblade Sisters and Clockwork Orange are my favorite films about gangs (other than The Warriors). I don't really care for too many others. The Outsiders is good. The Wanderers, I used to like years ago, but hadn't seen it in about 15 years, watched it recently and it put me to sleep. Still some GREAT scenes and lines though.

Two good films which feature football hooligan gangs are 'The Firm' and 'Arrivederci Millwall', the best two of the football hooligan genre by a mile, both were made in the 80's.

'The Firm' features a younger Gary Oldman, who puts ina great performance.

Great films if you like that gritty 80's british film, especially as they are based in London.
Who are The Warriors, there must be some word...
