The Dark Knight
Greatest movie of the year! It's a masterpiece. Not only is it the best movie of the year but it's the greatest comic book movie ever made too.

i dont wear jeans man. but is it better than batman begins?
Re: The Dark Knight
I haven't seen it but it does look cool.
I think Heath Ledger did good with the role of Joker.
I looked at Previews and Commercials.
IMO, he did good.
The movie looks suspenseful.
I would like to see it.

Re: The Dark Knight
Without a doubt, THE best batman film to date. Loved the vanishing pencil scene. The batcycle was a little bit judge dredd-esq but still cool. I dont think eric roberts should have been walking in the second half of the film. For a dvd easter egg, it would be cool if they cut to Brian Blessed on a sidewalk to shout "GORDONS ALIVE!".
Damn good film, but I still enjoyed Iron man and Rambo more.
Anyone seen the new Punisher trailer yet? It looks cool in an 80's trashy kinda way.
I think I may have over-used the word "cool" in this post. 8)

yeah the new punisher looks sick, to bad thomas jane isnt coming back. and i heard its going to be a reeboot like the new hulk movie was.
Re: The Dark Knight
One of the best "super-heroe" action movies I have seen. This film is here to stay. Still, 2 1/2 hours wasn't long enough for me....bring on the 3rd installment.

Re: The Dark Knight
for me an absolute joy to sit and watch, personally i think it lost its way a little and i stress the word little and i think it was about 15 or 20 minutes too long!but thats the only bones i could pick with this classic.
for sooooooooooo long i have waited for a film that has delivered this much tension and action thats not corny in anyway!it was a privelage to hand over the 7 pounds to watch this movie!
ledger was for any better word phenomanol!!!!stole every single scene he was in,and to fare to all the actors its been such a long time since ive been to see a movie with such good acting from all the actors theres nothing you could pick really at apart from bales ridiculous deep voice haha!never seen a movielike this since HEAT! immediate top 10 home dvd favourite!!

Re: The Dark Knight
Don't know about the rest of you, but I had severe doubts about Heath playing the Joker, after watching the movie my doubts were shut down.
A real shame he passed away, especially at 28.
I thought that tunnel scene was the best scene in the movie.
"nope, he's going to need something bigger"
-right as Joker pulls out an RPG.
Dunno about the next villain, maybe Clayface, Bane, Mr. Freeze, Rag Doll, Black Mask, Gearhead. Too many potential characters.

Re: The Dark Knight
I finally got to see all of it last night. I think it was a great movie. I think perhaps they should just stop making Batman movies now, because I seriously doubt they'll be able to top this one. With that said, I read somewhere that the two face character is officially dead. I think this is a bad move on the director's part. Because the character barely had any screen time, as two face. He was way overshadowed by the Joker. There is still a lot of story to be told with the two face character. It was kind of like Venom with Spiderman 3.
