I've come up with a theory on this. If Cleon hadn't gotten wrecked and remained in command. Mercy tries to hook up with the Warriors. Same scenario, only Cleon, not Swan, is in charge.
Let's hear what you guys think.

I think Cleon would have left her behind, cuz he had a girl (in the TV version) and I think it might have been a problem with Ajax and Swan. Meaning she might have caused a fight between the two over her, just slowing them from getting back to the big CI
