hey guys, who smokes here, and if you have quit how did u do it and what would be the best advice to quit, im trying hard and have for ages but keep going back to it, especially when i drink alcohol

Smoking when drunk is the worst thing you can do if you dont want to start / want to stop. I usually smoke when I'm drunk but because my parents went away on holiday for 10 days a couple of weeks ago I was drunk most nights, like seriosuly I was drinking near enough every night! But I started smoking more than usual as time went on and honestly, started feeling the urge to have a cigarette when I was sober. I realised then that I would definetely have to stop smoking when I was drunk, and low and behold, this weekend, when I was much more drunk than I have been in a while (thanks to 85% alcohol volume Absinthe), I managed to resist the urge for a cigarette, and I felt great for not doing it and knowing I had the will power to resist it. So really the only advice I can give is DO NOT SMOKE WHEN DRUNK.....because it can and will lead to you smoking for good!
