I saw this on the weekend, I thought it was okay. I would admit to anyone that it is a bit over the top, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I would be quite happy for people to drop their honest opinion whether they thought it was good or not. I read that bits were cut out of it so it could fit the American R rating, insted of NC-17. But over here in Australia, we never cut so it was given an Australian R rating (equivelant to NC-17). So I saw the Directors Cut version, which is the original NC-17 version in the U.S. So, Anyone like or dislike this movie?

Yes, I own the director's cut and I did thouroughly enjoy the movie, but i don't know, I can't watch it alot. There's just... no redeeming value to it at all.  :|

For instance, I always root for the bad guys, but in this movie, the Knoxes are just TOO evil, even for me. It kinda ruins the action scenes when you can only root for people like that.

Just my opinion though.  :)

I completely understand, though I do kinda believe that this movie was made to make people feel uncomfortable. The main characters are considered crazy mass murderers by the rest of the characters, but during the film it was made too seem they are not entirely evil. And even so, after I had seen it, I had wondered what the movie would have been like if they used the original script from Quentin Tarantino.

Oh man I hated this movie, they tried too hard.  Woody just doesn't cut it for me.  Not to mention the worst director ever, Oliver Stone.

Man, I completely understand you. Myself, being a strong Tarantino fan, reckon it might of been heaps better, if Oliver Stone didn't steal Tarantino's idea, and almost completely revise the script. I would openly admit that I enjoyed the over-the-top action scenes, and actually had a laugh, but the film didn't really have sense, just explicit violence.

Well this is the reason why Tarantino didn't even want a credit.  Stone just killed this film and the screenplay was all screwed up after Stone assisted in changing the majority of it.
