Thanks guys for the insights.  Hey I paused the taxi youtube at around 2min 20sec and not only is it a bit lighter but it It looks lighter in the center of the vest, in kind of a "O" shape.  Which seems like where the warbird and top rocker might have been.  Or maybe I am just trippin.

Hi again everybody. That was cool to see the Taxi episode. I thought I saw a thread somewhere on here where someone said a Warriors vest may have been used in Bachelor Party (another Tom Hanks related sighting, how strange is that?) but I couldn't find it again when I searched. Does that ring any bells with anyone?

I think Godfather's right about the two vests pictured above having the same cuts on the armholes. It definitely looks like the Cochise vest was just buttoned up before they laid it on the ground to shoot it which is why it looks different from the other one that was left open when photographed.

The vests do appear slightly darker in the film, although it was mostly shot at night and they may have used filters during filming or modified the colors during post production editing. I did notice that the vest color does sort of fluctuate based on the lighting in the Taxi episode too. My only other best guess is that whatever dye they originally used to stain the vest just naturally lightened or faded with time and exposure to light and air. It has been nearly 30 years since they were first used after all, and I noticed that the leather trim on the interior that would have suffered less exposure IS slightly darker than the exterior.

When we got the Plato/Rembrandt vest from Paramount Wardrobe, it still had the original patch set stitch holes still on it and the imprint of the patches was almost imperceptible but still there. We just completed the aging/distressing of the perfect reproduction patch set and I'll be posting a picture of it here on the site again after the weekend so you guys can check it out and let me know what you think.

It's been great discussing this with you all and I'm very grateful for all the additional info I've gotten from being here!

And here's the thread with the plato vest (which would make the vest pic I posted a couple of days ago, swans).
There was discussion about the vest in this thread being an A1 reproduction, but if you look closly enough on the left of the pic, you can just make out the triangular trim point on the pocket which A1 never had.  The patches are warriorcleaon aka stillatlizzies patches which were too small, but looks ok on rembrandts smaller sized vest.

Hey thegoldencloset, can you post the measurements of the patches (height, length of the rocker and warbird), as well as the vest (width from armpit to armpit and length from nape of neck to bottom of the back of the vest)?  I was always curious.

Hello again everybody. We applied the distressed patch set today and photographed the vest with them on the back. I should be posting the new pictures here and on our website http://www.thegoldencloset.com tomorrow. I'll also try to provide the measurements you requested as well.

Thanks again for all the questions and answers relating to the vest. I knew it would be appreciated here!

Hello again everybody. The Rembrandt vest has now been restored with the distressed patches that were reproduced directly from the costume designer's original tracings. Here's pictures to review. The garment is being offered at $12,000. Please feel free to contact me here or through our website http://www.thegoldencloset.com for any additional information. Thanks again to everyone that helped provide information and feedback.

Hey Godfather. Sorry about not posting the dimensions. The boss didn't think it would be a good idea in case anyone at Paramount caught wind of it and thought we were encouraging unlicensed knockoffs. Hope you understand.

No Problem thegoldencloset, I guess it makes it better that way because now I won't feel if bad that my patches aren't exactly the right proportions. Thanks!
