Well I went to the Van Halen reunion on Tuesday, the 13th.  I am so glad that I became part of history.  They haven't played at Madison Square Garden since 1981.  Was anyone else there by any chance?  I know what some of you are thinking, you probably seen Van Halen back in the day when they were the best, and I would have loved to walk in your shoes.  But I was just so thrilled to see them come back toghther, plus come back to the garden after all these years.  It was good to see Eddie sobered up, and play better then ever.  I'll never forget it.  Know their heading to Los Angeles, I know their gonna rock the show there for sure.  Has anyone else gone?

^ Calm down there, lad.  8)

I can honestly say, that I would go just to say "Yeah, I saw Van Halen" but I don't have 150 bucks for a ticket. But, I would and I wouldn't in the end. I think Eddie's good on the guitar, but not the greatest. He's highly overrated by a lot of people.

All in all, maybe if I had the money. Plus, I'm not walking/driving(don't drive)/taking a bus/taking the train to another city if they don't play St. Louis.

Yes, I was at that show at the Garden and it was great. In the past I saw the Haggar version of Van Halen. So I really got to appreciate this show. I'm not a big fan of Eddie Van Halen. It has always been Diamond Dave for me. He sounded great.

I'm going to see Van Halen in Dallas Jan 26 and I'm super stoked! My ticket states that no cameras, audio, or video are allowed. I was wondering if those of you who went took them in and got away with it or got them confiscated or what. I would love to be able to take some memorable pics.
