If you watch the scene in the graveyard Swan asks about Cleon neither of the Warriors knew rather if Cleon was killed or arrested. A few moments later it is likely that they figured Cleon was arrested and moved on considering there was no possible way of going back to see if Cleon was ok or not.

If Cleon didn't 'disappear' at the beginning of the movie,I doubt Swan will became such a strong character. Also, the movie script would probably look very different from the one used, so I guess Cleon's death is, in a way, positive thing.  ;)

Ye sure, movie script is like we know cause Swan had to become such a strong character!!!
But I think he would have become strong the same, even without Cleon's death, cause his mind and his tenacity were the reasons he was Cleon's 2nd in command!!! Also Cleon knew about Swan characterists!!!
So in a way or another that was his destiny!!! 8)

Sorry to disagree with you but I don't remember papa Arnold making it back. I am at the moment re-reading the book and like Cleon Papa Arnold was beaten down by the Delancey Thrones(Riffs) for stopping to look at the fallen Ismael(Cyrus). I don't remember him featuring in the story again after that. When I have finished reading the book if I am wrong I will post an apology

As promised here is my apology to Hector, sorry in the book papa Arnold does indeed make it back to the hangout. In my own defence though we don't get to learn about his journey just that he made it ,so I'm not surprised that i had forgotten that fact. Maybe it will make me wait till i check my facts before posting, but then again i never learn ;) So again very sorry Hector.
By the way Reklaw2 a very informative post there, did you forget what you wanted to say or did you press the post button prematurely :doubt:

No, he's just one of those people we get every now and again that ruins our fun.  It's always fun to make fun of them, though.

Don't worry, people make mistakes all the time. But yeah, papa arnold (cleon) made it back and Hector (Swan) and some of the others got arrested.
