Fox and the Riffs

Post by The Swan »

I searched it, and there is not, but I apologize if anyway it has already been posted.
So, I was reading Warloard18's topic about Fox and why he didn't say anything, about luther, to The Warriors... now I wonder why Fox didn't go and say about luther to The Riffs before Cleon and rogues arrival near Cyrus body? I can understand his "shock", the police the risks and all the rest (I agree and thank WarChief answer to Warloard18 topic)...
... but I always wondered if that move wouldn't have saved Cleon life and changed all that fuc.... night! Cause Masai and then DJ word would have been another... "a special 4 the................ rogues!!! 8)

Well, thanks a lot Scurvy Dog, you know even if I think it would have been better(The Fox... to The Riffs), I also think your reasons are right. Another question: what about if the movie had followed another storyboard(if Fox had spoken to the Riffs)... I don't know... something like everybody after the rogues? Just kidding!!! Thanks again. 8)

IMO,Fox didn't say anything cos he assumed that Riffs saw who shot Cyrus. He couldn't know that Luther's gonna blame Cleon. Also, the police broke the meeting just few seconds after Cyros got killed. In a situation like that he was trying to avoid the arrest,he probably didn't think about anything else.

I am sure they were going to blame someone.  With everything going down, his 1st reaction was to run!!

Exactly Lions.  I mean Fox and the rest of them had no idea that they were being hunted.  Their first instinct and priority was to just get to their safe haven "home".  I mean it wasn't their fault or their problrm for that matter, so they just figured that they would get out.  Besides, Fox was far from Cleon, probably by the time he got to the Riffs t tell them the truth, Cleon would already be dead, and Fox would bekilled as well.  So they figured "to hell with this", lets get out while our heads are still attached to our bodies.

In my opinion, our movie has some bugs like the best softwares!  ;)
I'm asking to myself: How did Luther recognise that Fox was a Warriors member?
I mean there is a lot of people at the meeting, he looked at him only for few istant, environment quite dark, noisy, in full turmoil etc. and don't forget that The Warriors are from the bottom side of New York and they don't have this big reputation to be recognised with a fast look.

I didn't read any past post about it but my thought is not the America's Discovery :)
When Luther rings someone, he says something like that "the Warriors... from Coney etc." so he shouldn't to be accurate about their location if they are from Coney too.

Maybe I'm confusing wiht the Italian version where he clearly says "Sono stati loro, quelli di Coney.....si I Guerrieri.....". (sorry for that but I watched both versions a lot of times so I misunderstood).

Ye doyle, in the italian version, he didn't say "they're from Coney!" IMO luther recognizes The Fox by the vest... after all The Warriors maybe were more known than other gangs!
Anyway in the game the rogues are from Hell's kitchen. 8)
