I think Cleon chose these guys for a reason:

Swan= Cool, patient, excellent leader skills, and good fighter
Snow= Calm, fast, and good fighting skills
The Fox= Obviously memory and maturity
Cowboy=Calm and Ajax's cooler
Rembrandt= Tagger and the voice of reason (told the other 2 they had to leave sensing danger with the Lizzies)
Vermin= Strength and speed
Ajax= Tough and excellent fighter
Cochise= Fast and good fighter

That sounds pretty likley. They all had those attributes. I think Cochise was also Ajax's cooler. There was a topic somewhere that talked about Cochise and Ajax being close.

I agree all the reasons.... about Fox I think, if he weren't died, he'd have even been a good Swan 2nd.
I mean, he showed also some leader skills, 4 istance in the graveyard when Rembrandt only after his nodding goes and check the zone! Well he wasn't surely a good fighter, but he could have done it! IMO 8)
