You have to remember that when the gangs were at the conclave and all hell broke loose, the Warriors busted through the fence. As the jumped of the stairs(?) Cowboy falls and hurts his ankle. That is why he "can't make it" in the Furies chase...........

I always liked Cowboy, and e did kick ass during the Punks fight. I always liked his lines after The Warriors got away from the ACs:

"So was we!" (To Vermin's 'those cats were some desperate dudes!')
"Those cats didn't look too chicken shit to me!" (To Ajax's 'bunch of chicken shits!')

Love Cowboy's face when he cracks that one Punk with the bat LOL.
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

That's an excellent point, BigMike7 about his injured ankle. I never really thought about it before, but now it makes sense why he couldn't make it.
I know a lot of you aren't too happy about going out on patrol. Just remember this. Out of a street family of 120 plus affiliates, you were chosen for this expedition and that makes you special!

GonzoNYC wrote:I believe Cowboy was a fairly new member to the gang. It seemed like he could almost be a long standing member's younger brother. They toss his hat around, Swan and Ajax act brotherly towards him in Furies scene, etc.. The fact that he doesn't say much could also indicate a somewhat newer member. This would imply that his role in the gang is undetermined but he could of been chosen as one of the 9 delagates because of his relation to someone stronger in the gang.
I always figured the reason Ajax and Cochise messed with him is because he was so laid back and they knew he wouldn't take offense. Not because he was new and they were just screwing with him to screw with him.

Anyhoo here's how I always saw Cowboy. A close friend of Ajax's. (Just got that vibe between the two.) Like Cowboy and Ajax were tight. He was the most direct with Ajax. "Hey, Ajax lighten up." He meant what he said. The character was nice and laid back, but he seemed to know when to draw the line. Cowboy was a good soldier. A decent fighter. HE held his own with the punks but got kncoked out by the Furies. He just seemed like a geniunely nice guy, who was in the gang for general reasons.

I liked Cowboy, he was cool guy. I really dug how he tipped his hat to the danged undercover cop on the bench. JUst showed how much into his character Tom Mckitterick was.

Blasphemy! He was out of breath. Adrenaline had his ankle all fixed up at that point. If not, the Turnbulls would have run him over. Or, the cops would've caught him in the subway. And he ran a long way before having to stop. In fairness, he kicked ass against the Punks.

I think that Cowboy was a very loyal member of the group. He seemed like a caring person who would always have everyone's back. Even though he doesn't do much in the Baseball Furies brawl, he seemed to be doing a good job in The Punks brawl! :D Thumbs up to Cowboy!! =D>

He did so much too! Remember when the Punks' leader kicks in the stall door and Cowboy smashes him in the face (and brings him down)? Whoo! Greatness. :)
