A new meeting, a new truce. Warriors 2006.

It's the year 2006, times have changed, people have changed.. but some things remain the same.  The 5 burrows are still run by gangs, some that lasted, others that vanished... the one group that now runs things earned their place as the best 27 years ago, whom eventually passed on the legacy to the new bloods.  From Coney Island to the Bronx the name 'Warriors' lives on. 

(Warlord Jants and second in command Hochii are talking in private at a graveyard with a head stone simply marked, "Swan".  Both wearing the colors passed down to them because even though the times have changed, the vests and spirit of the original members didn't.)

Hochii- What's buggin you Warchief? 

Jants- I need to ask you something.....  where do you see all this going?

Hochii-  All of what? 

Jants- This life we're leading, this life and the lives of the 10 thousand remaining Soldiers out there.. that continues to reduce every year?

Hochii-  Shit, it's only natural that there are less Soldiers then before..

Jants- Natural?

Hochii- Law of the land my friend, the strong survives... I mean, we're at the top of our game, running these streets..what more is there?

Jants- Unification.

Hochii- Unification?  Whaddya mean?

Jants- You know the story of what happened 27 years ago better then most, Swan filled us in personally when we took over..the idea has been fucking with me lately and I can't help but think Cyrus was onto something... it's only now that I think Swan was hinting something to me.. but I just didn't get it at the time... basically, I think he wanted us to try and make that idea a reality, before all of us fade away.. or continue running these streets like cockroaches until we vanish from existence.  He always wanted something better.. maybe it's time we did something about it...

Hochii- I'm with ya man, you know that.. so whaddya got in mind?

Jants- Assemble the men....

(Original Warriors theme music plays as the various members of the Warriors assemble.)

I don't read fan fic's often, and I'm not easily impressed, but I thought yours was well written. Nice to see a bit of foundation & I like the direction it's going. A 2006 meeting with Jants as the new Cyrus? This could be interesting...

It makes a change from the usual game take-off stories, which often include lines like: "Then he stabbed the Moonrunner in the face with his broken bottle, then jumped in the air and down onto his chest and made blood spray everywhere" In the first paragraph...

Thanks guys, will post the next part here on Monday.  If anybody is living in or around Southern California when we start filming this little project, we could use some soldiers for the fanfilm.  We have some great locations for filming sometime in 2007.  It'll be filmed here in locations that resemble New York. 8)

yea i feel u bout the game take-off stories,those same stories is the reason i quit readin the fan-fic section,its only some stories on here thats interestin. i got tired bout readin how Swan kicked Big Moe or Fatterbox and made them fly 10 feet :badgrin:
