Music cuts out and radio DJ starts talking: "Big news out of uptown Boppers. My sources are telling me that the Gramercy Riffs lost some inside muscle recently to the Punks! Word on the street is that Masai and the ex mover and shaker for the Riffs had a falling out when the soldier wanted more influence in Riffs activities. No one knows what role this muscle from Gramercy will play with the punks, but what is known is that the Riffs lost a part of their gang that won't be easily replaced. For the Punks, we might see them making bigger moves now. Thats all for now Boppers...but remember to keep your ear to the street and be lookin good!"

interresting post but i don't one guy would make much of a difference just for the punks. and the riffs have tons of ppl so they can just get more.

While the radio DJ announces the newest addition to the Punks, the boys from the Bowery are having a meeting of their own in the transit station of the J, M, Z lines.

The punks leader Vance addresses the crowd
Vance:  ?OK Punks here it is?..I gathered you all here today to talk about the rivalry we have going right now with the Fifth Street Bombers??

Random Punk member yells out from crowd: ?YEA THOSE CHUMPS HAVE BEEN BOMBIN? ALL OVER OUR TURF!!?

Vance raises his hand for silence: Yes, we are all aware of what they have been doin? on our turf. We have something more important to talk about right now. As of today we have a new Lieutenant. His name is Knowledge and he comes from uptown Gramercy Riffs territory. He brings us much needed information that he gathered while a member of the Riffs and as of today Knowledge is a PUNK!!!!

Crowd roars with enthusiasm, once the noise dies down the Punks leader begins talking again.

Vance: So this is what?s going to happen, Knowledge has informed me on where all of the Fifth Street Bombers cash connections are located. Tonight we are going to (makes throat slashing motion) cut off the Bombers life line. Now Knowledge has informed me that the Bombers are going to be in Brooklyn to meet the Jones Street Boys in Bensonhurst so the time is right to strike. I want ten soldiers coming with Knowledge and I and the rest of you Punks are going to stay back here with Ed. Nine O? Clock we?ll meet up here to take the S line up to fifth street.

Vance, Knowledge, and the ten other Punks arrive at the Grand St. Station and walk up to the platform Vance leading the way and Knowledge not far from his side making their appearance felt by being loud and disruptive. They jump over the turn styles and as one of the last Punks makes his way through the gait he bangs on the window where the toy cop is stationed. Looking terrified and knowing he is more than outnumbered the cop watches as one of the Punks yells at him ?WHATCHU GONNA DO FUZZIE!! Knowledge throws a yellow spray can at the yelling punk and as he catches the can he says, ?Let em?know Krylon!? Krylon procedes to throw up a mark showing who?s turf it is.  Krylon starts laughing as he runs off to catch up with the rest of the Punks making it onto the train just as the doors on the cars close.

While on the S the Punks get comfortable on the train, intimidating other passengers to get up and move, one old lady sits on the end of the train staring at the group of ten. Vance addresses the group

Vance: ?Alright, when we get there it?s PAYDAY for the PUNKS!?HaHa!
The other punks laugh, nodding their heads.
Vance: ? Ya?ll gotta? soldier up real tight when we get there alright? We see any of those guys from Fifth street and we come down heavy on em!?
Vance pulls out his switchblade and looks at rest of the punks who are armed with various weapons, one or two have chains, and a couple others have armed themselves with baseball bats. One Punk is even finishing a bottle of beer as the train comes to a stop at fourth street. As the punks walk out of the train there are few people on the platform or walking around outside. As they walk down the street there are a few hookers and junkies around, other than that it seems pretty quiet. Knowledge leads the Punks down the street and to an alley that is blocked off by a fence. They jump the fence and walk down to the end of the alley. At the end is a wooden fence that blocks off the alley from a main strip where there is a local convenient store. Outside the store are two Fifth Street soldiers standing guard.

Knowledge whispering: ?Bombers?there they are two of them..and there?s probably 5 more in the store.?
Vance whispering: ?Do you know if there is a rear entrance Knowledge??
Knowledge whispering: ?The back entrance is usually open..that?s where they make most of their transactions.?
?Vance: Alright well lets show them who they are gonna? be making those transactions with! Knowledge you take the back entrance and the four of us will walk through the front.?
Vance points to two of the Punks and tells them to keep watch for any more Bombers.

In front of the store the two bombers are sitting around drinking some beers. They both have  on black leather jackets embroidered with 5th Street Bombers on the back, and a bomb exploding. All the Bombers really were was an outfit that was barely on Masai?s network. The Bombers had been gaining a rep recently by getting their name out on other peoples turf throwing up elaborate pieces that represented the 5th street Bombers. The Bombers had a little bit of money but tonight was their last night in lower Manhattan as far as the Punks were concerned. The two Bombers had been drinking for a while and if their leader Joey had caught them getting blasted while on lookout he would have came down on them. These two Bombers were bored out of their minds though.

Bomber Val: ?Maaaaaan! Why did we get stuck back here and not get to go over to Brooklyn. I mean I?ve never even been over there!?

Bomber Vic: ?Man Val Brooklyn aint anything big, I mean??

Just then Vance strolls up with three other punks and stares at the Bombers.

Val: ?What the hell do you think you?re doin? on Bomber territory with those colors on??
Vic snaps his fingers and three more Bombers come outside.

Val: ?Now are you gonna leave or not??

Vance shakes his head no and pulls out his switch blade.

Val: ?WASTE THESE PUNKS!!!!!!!?

Vince smashed his beer bottle and he lunged at Vance with his shank. In a sweeping motion Vance put stabbed the Bomber and threw him through the store window. He followed him in through the window, and as he stepped inside a Bomber kicked him to the ground and started stomping on him. Vance got up punching him in the face he grabs a nearby Jar of pickles and smashes it over the Bombers head. The other Punks and Bombers were outside exchanging blows. The Punks were using good team work with one Punk holding a Bomber while the other beat him with a chain. Outback Knowledge and the rest of the Punks were set to come in when they were greeted by two Bomber lookouts. The Punks made quick work of the lookouts stripping them of their colors while Knowledge picked the lock to the back door. The Punks went in and fought their way past five other Bombers who just weren?t much of a challenge.  Krylon threw one of the Bombers heavy muscle into one of the isles holding cans and jars. A large mess was made of the store when the Punks were done they interrogated the store owner for information and told him that this was Punks territory now. Vance took money from the man, emptying his safe. The
Punks out front broke out the windows and spray painted their mark on the store. Krylon was seen inside painting a large Punks mural. Knowledge came around the corner from the back of the store with a Punk Soldier and had a couple of bags full of money which included diamond watches and gold necklaces.

Knowledge standing in front of the store owner: ?So you were holding out eh??
Knowledge slams his fist on the table saying firmly, ?Don?t you ever hold out on us? You hear me Peppy? You want to live? You want protection, then you don?t hold out on the PUNKS!?

Store owner visibly shaken nods ok, his whole body shaking.

Vance: ?Now Peppy?you tell Joey that if he wants to be safe he better leave lower Manhattan! Tell him the Punks run this turf!?See you soon Peppy?

Vance hands him a couple handfuls of money out of one of the several bags the Punks came away with. Filing out of the store the Punks stand in the street. While they gather Krylon breaks a window of a car outside, presumably Peppy?s and steals the radio. When one of the Punks looks at him Krylon says. ?What? He has money to buy a new one!?
Making their way toward the 4th street platform the Punks wait for the S line back to Bowery.
