Ramones are great!  Huge influence on the entire UK punk rock scene of the late 70s.  First album is a classic.

Ramones will always be the best. I agree with Gonz, these guys have been a great influence on UK punk rockers, then and now and any other sissy punk wannabee bands that are coming out. The difference is that The Ramones were ORIGINAL anything after them (except for The Clash) are a bunch of no good breathing air wasters who should of been put down by the Pale Horse years ago!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

My favorite albums are the ones with Tommy still playing the drums.(First three.)

Chainsaw has to be my favorite song.

Rock and Roll High School wasn't a bad movie either.

The Clash original?!! White Riot is a bad Ramones tribute band song...

Theres been quite a few bands after The Ramones who were great- Siouxsie and the Banshees being one.

Seriously dude the Clash and the Ramones r possibly the two furthest away from each other in the punk scene one was inspired by Reggae (the clash) the other was just out there on its own (the ramones). Also to my recolection there is a solo in white riot as there is in most clash songs. i dont even think johnny put any solos into any ramones songs.
on a lighter note they r both excellent bands

The Ramones are nothing short of incredible. I wanna say I have a favorite song, but everytime someone asks me I can never come up with just one. I could ramble on for hours about ramones songs I love. But I won't.
No crime if there ain't no law, no more cop's left to mess you around.

The Ramones are great, i remeber the first time i heard them it wason some tv show the song was blitzcreig bob i only found out it was the ramones who did that song like 5 years later lol
