Greatness. Here is my Review:
The Warriors.
A cult classic movie. I picked this game up today and my god, it breaks the tradition that movie games suck.
R* did their best, and thats what this is: The best possible game for the warriors. All the profanity is in this game. The graphics are sluggish, but it's made by R*, so consider the source. Another great feature is the rumble mode, which allows you to pit gangs against each other in a 5 vs. 5 or 1 vs. 1 brawl.
The story is loosely based around the movie. The infamous speech is shown, then the game rewinds 3 months back in time, when Rembrandt joins the army. You play though that into the events of the movie. The game has most of the dialouge/intrigue of the movie.
The gameplay is simple. yet effective. The War Chief mode is so hard no navigate with an XBOX controller, or maybe it's my twitchy thumb, who knows. The minigames for spray painting, mugging, and stealing car stereos are fun, but can be repetitive.
The actors from the movie, for the better part, voice their characters. Ajax, Swan, Cochise, Cleon, Snow. Those all have their original voices. Everyone else in this game are done by generic actors, who sound good anyway.
All in all, this game is worth the buy. Its fun, has 2 player multiplayer, a multiplayer fight game. Somewhat good graphics, a easy control scheme. Worth the $53.23 out of the gate.

You forgot Mercy and The Fox, who are also voiced by their original actors.

He's in. Scout's honor (not that I've ever been a boy scout). In fact, Fox, along with Cleon and Cochise, really sound just as they did 25 yrs. ago.

I got the game today and it is the best game i think ive bought in ten years. The feel. the voice acting, the action. the way it developes... this game wins hands down. The voice actors are a lot of the same guys from the movie. some posts stated that it was bad. it aint. i only just started but the devs of this game are obvious fans and have earned my $54 american. truly. and i only started 90 minutes ago. it seems to be like Grand Theft Auto with the mission setup. And like the Warriors, the film with the rest of the game. their base looks just like you'd expect it too. their activities are that of real gangs; mugging, car stereo theft, smash and grab robberies. The way Cleon talks to his men is the way he would've talked to them in the movie had there been such scenes. The inside photo of the manual is a sillouette of the guys taken from the deleted-but-shown-on-tv boardwalk scene. The devs are definetely fans. As for the voice acting, Swan, Ajax, Cleon, Fox, Snow, Cochise, Mercy and possibly others were all on board for this game, and that is triply cool. This is no doubt better than the DC DVD released two weeks ago, which has pleased fans while pissing them off a little. This game allows you to BE a Warrior. Cannot get any better than that.
