chapter 13
swans apartment
7:00am
Dianna was up all night with back-ache, so was swan because he was the one that was trying to soothe and he knew that he couldnt always be around the hangout so he decided to phone them:
"the warriors hangout,wadda ya want(it was ajax)"
"hey ajax it's swan here, tell everyone that dianna's baby will be due soon so i wont be in to take charge of the warriors, so-
"you want me to take charge don't cha"
"no ajax sorry just ask snow ok"
"but i-", then swan hung up because he had more important things to do than listen to ajax whining... it was 10:00am and dianna was in the middle of a sentence then all of a sudden GUSH her waters had broken, she shouted in pain"swan help phone the ambulance my waters have broke"
"shit ok honey im on to it". he rushed to the phone:
"9ll emergencey"
"erm ccome quick my wife(he said becuase she is more like a wife)sshe's went into labour i need an ambulance on the dot"
"where do you live"
"coney island,34th street apartment blocks..3rd floor number 234".. he went into the kitchen and got dianna to sit down in the living room while they waited for the ambulance, all the way he was rubbing her stomach and back,ushing words of encouregment, then they came, they got her and but he in one of then wheely-hospital beds and wheeled her down the elavator then in the ambulance, swan came with her and sat beside her!!
They arrived at the hospital 10mins later and all the way dianna had bin screaming and cursing, they rushed her in to the birth ward straight away and swan followed for support. when she was on the bed they gave her gas and air because she was already a qauter into her birth they gave her some birth drugs that were stronger, she panted and puffed and sqeezed swan's hand.. the baby was crowning(you could se its head coming out) and the doctors and midwife's said"3 more big pushes.. mrs johnson" she pushed and srceamed too"ARRGGHH FUCK THIS HURTS OAWHO AWHO(shes doing the breathing sounds) 123 ARGH", the midwife said"one more push mrs johnson, she sqeezed swan's hand so tight he thought it was going to drop off!
"123 argghh", then all you heard was a sweet little baby's cry"wahh waah awahh". the doctor said"it's a lovely baby boy", he then asked swan if he wanted to cut the umbilical cord and he did and at that moment swan felt so good,warm and happy inside because he was A DADDY... the doctors finished weighing and checking the baby and said" he's a healthy 6 pounds 2ounces".!!
