there was only a handful of decent games... its a world cup... there should be more than a handful... not happy bout it...

The African nations i think were the most entertaining... Fearless in attack and strong in defense... i feel they were the highlight of the world cup by far

You know I have to agree with you guys. This WC was a bit boring. All the teams that were suposed to give the best performance didn't. Nothing new happened or amazing. I know this might sound  negative from my part, but, I wish they would stop making the players hold hands with those kids. I mean, we all know the players go in there to beat the crap out of each other in football, its a world match for crying out loud, something they had to wait for  4 years. I don't wanna see tranquilty, I wanna see those players sweat the millions they make away!!! Besides, it obviously didn't do any go good for Zidane, and even the players seem annoyed by the whole holding their hand thing!!!

This is the first time I really payed attention to the World Cup, and I gotta say I really don't feel terribly excited. That head-butt to Mazzerati's chest made it all worth while though:lol: Is it true that the reason Zidane took him down is becuase Mazzerati called him a terrorist?

I've heard two theories:

1) That Materazzi said something bad about Zidanes sister.
2) That Materazzi said somethning about Zidane and his mother dying. Zidanes mother was taken into hospital that day. If that is the case, i say Materazzi deserved worse than a headbutt to the chest.
