Re: R.I.P Chris Benoit
After coming to terms with this tragedy & knowing all the facts i do now i cant bring myself to say R.I.P Chris Benoit (As i did in a post above) as i doubt he will for what he has done.I still cant believe he could do such a thing,He was a hero to me.So my last say on this is thanks for the memories in the ring Chris but i dont think you will be remembered for that anymore !

Re: R.I.P Chris Benoit
I agree with you but only if it's all true. and I still can't believe it is... He was a hero to almost everyone who knew something about wrestling, but if he really did this ( and I must repeat that I don't believe it, although the facts seem to point the other way) than he really won't stay in a goos memory. But his ring performance is a different story, and nobody can take away the things that he accomplished during his career.

Re: R.I.P Chris Benoit
Man, he must of had alot of suffering in his heart for him to do this. Only he will know why he did it. As far as a wrestler, like mentioned before, he was a hell of one!

Re: R.I.P Chris Benoit
When I heard about this I said R.I.P Benoit but now we know what has happened I take it back and instead I say R.I.P to Nancy and Daniel Benoit who didn't deserve this at all!
Yes he was a brilliant wrestler and most likely one of the best wrestlers WCW, ECW and WWE ever had but what he has done is just wrong and sick and because of that I can't say R.I.P to him because he doesn't deserve it.
Wwe have done the right thing about removing his profile, dedication page.
Once again R.I.P Nancy and Daniel Benoit and my regards go to the two kids from a previous relationship and other family members

Re: R.I.P Chris Benoit
i feel sorry for his wife and son, not chris benoit himself. he pumped his body with so many steroids that it made him ultra aggressive. the police have also found needle marks on his sons arms which means that he was propbably injecting his son with steroids too.
it just shows what these dangerous drugs can do.

Re: R.I.P Chris Benoit
R.I.P my ass.He should rot in hell. He killed a innocent child and there is no justifying that and he was injecting his son also. I don't care what kind of wrestler he was. If anybody could do that to there own son,You are a piece of crap. Leave it to the WWE now to say that it was marriage problems and not steriod rage. They will say that just to take the heat off themselves.

Re: R.I.P Chris Benoit
I'd just like to say that this is another sad case of people not realizing their celebrity. Once you become a public figure, there are certain unspoken expected behaviors of you. No one expects their hero to do something this horrendous and shocking. But of course, if you have the capacity to bring harm to your own loved ones, you have no scope of how it will affect others around the world who placed you on any kind of hero pedestal.
I live in Georgia, not terribly far from where all this happened, and we've been getting bits and pieces of news about the investigation with every broadcast. There have been raids and speculations, which I won't get into them here.
It saddens me that a man, who was seen as a strong force, let down the ones he was supposed to protect in this manner. When I followed wrestling, Chris Benoit was one of my favorites. I got caught up in the 'image' he maintained. But you have to realize, all human beings have flaws, some you can deal with, some highly inexcusable, such as this.
It is sick, what he did, but you have to wonder why he did it (this is rhetorical, I'm DEFINITELY NOT defending him, just presenting the generalized state of being an imperfect human being who's trying to be "perfect"). There is no justification in actions such as his. I know his soul can never rest in peace for that, and I feel so sorry, if for no one else, his son, who barely had any time on this planet. I most certainly hope the investigations are completed soon. My prayers go out to his remaining family.

i completely agree with you. this is simply the best possible explanation and nothing more needs to be said. SnowGlycerine has said it all.

You all know how I love to analyze things. But for the first time in my life, I will not contemplate on this. Its a horrible thing, and I will not be a person who talks stupid things about this. So I will just merely remember the good times, and how his wrestling affected me. As for this tragedy, I will just simply leave it alone, and not judge it.
