Now hold up. There was no need for that comment. Hes absolutly right. The Commentators are the worst for it. Say Ajax and Barcelona are playing in the Champions League and its on Sky with an English commentator. Barca score and the commentator will go "That goal was really like the goal England scored in 1966 to win the world cup". Even when there is no english team playing at all. Now I'm not sayin every English person is like that but there are a huge number who keep refering to that win 40 odd years ago.

i remember getting up even earlier for work, to catch what i could of it.
ESPN, was contsantly replaying the game's, so that helped.

as far as who will win, i dont really have a preference, really. it would be nice to see France, or USA, do well.
(but i won't hold my breath!)
i just enjoy watching it, because it's like any other "play-off" sport!
everybody come's to play, just play.

and that's when it's exciting!!!

I'm not really sure but it should probably be when all the domestic leagues are finished, so round about May.

Im backin portugal to do quite well although u cant really look past Brazil. I am however hoping Sweden do well as i have an extremely soft spot in my heart for 'Henke' (Henrik Larsson for those who have never heard 'Henke') so i hope he scores a few and they do well.

Come on 3 LIONS!!! If we win the world cup the key players for me will be Robinson, Terry and Rooney. I would say Lampard and Gerrard but they don't play well together. I can see Brazil winning it or England, can't say anyone else really.
