WHO IS LUTHER TALKING TO????????!

I really want someone to tell me who the hell Luther is on the phone to all the time. He says "Yeah, these Warriors.............Yeah they deserve it........Yeah, look after yourself okay."

Perhaps a member of the Riffs, the one who constantly reports to the leader. The Riff informer says in one scene: "We just heard from the Turnbulls, they blew it." The Turnbull ACs must have phoned in to notify the Riffs that the Warriors made it to the subway safely. My guess is that he is talking to that person. Luther's first words were to the tune of: "Hey, just checkin' in."

Yeah, that is what I always thought too. I can't get "The Warriors" book in Australia

, so I don't really know how some of the story fills in.

Yeah you can order it! It is just like the Amityville Horror dvd. You can't get that in Australia, I had to order it, yet you can get Amityville 2 & 3 & others....STUPID!

The book has NOTHING to do with the film. It's a good read, but not as good as the movie. The movie is (very) loosely based on it. Amazon sells the book, so...go get it;-)

They should really have kept thhe extra scenes in on the film, i mean why not?

The scenes that were cut were the daytime ones that involved Cleon talking to the rest of the gang about the meeting with Cyrus. What I have heard from other sites is that Walter Hill decided to cut the scenes and make most of the film happen at night. It is only at the end when the warriors return home, that it becomes daylight. The darkness adds to the dreary, insecure feeling of being lost, pursued, and finally reaching home.
