Deleted Scenes

Post by Irishfan »

Did everyone see The Warriors deleted Scenes? I watched them on The Warriors Real Live Bunch page there's a link to on this web site. If so what did you think? I taught thay were great I know they don't add a lot to the story it was just cool seeing them. I part Especially liked it when at the meeting Cyrus said to the crowd " You'll Go Junky. Cos that's what they got planed for you." On another topic does anyone else think that all the gangs have a military command structure? In that at the meeting every gang had the same format: 1 officer and 8 soliders. One last thing I was at a website a few years ago that claimed to have a Warriors Script for download but i Could never download it. Anyway it had the names of all the various gangs at the meeting, i knew of all except one The Blackjacks. Does anyone know who these are?
When we see the ocean we figure were home, were safe.

While watching the film recently, I noticed a black guy, in the crowd while Cyrus is preaching, wearing a Union Jack t-shirt. Maybe he's a Blackjack?!

Who knows. Lots of Gangs wore different colors and jackets. Even neck ties to.

The deleted scene at the beginning is great. We get a good look at Cleon before he covers his face.
I know a lot of you aren't too happy about going out on patrol. Just remember this. Out of a street family of 120 plus affiliates, you were chosen for this expedition and that makes you special!

I love it when the surf music kicks in and the Warriors bop up the boardwalk. It's a shame that scene was cut.

Yeah that is very cool.

Walter Hill hated this scene but i think it just makes the film even better.

Me too. I always thought it was part of the movie, but I now it is part of the deleted scenes.

i heard walter cut the scene with cleon/lincoln and the boardwalk scene because he wanted the film to be a night of trauma leading into a bright new day. a good decision in my opinion, as the opening sequence is the best ever juat as it is

You know what? After All... Somehow... It was better they were, apart the Draft One I have to say. Maybe that Scene, During the Night...
Anyway: The Movie is Perfect the Way It Is. That's for sure.

i think the gangs have more of a tribal command. such as the names warchief and warlord. and also cleon and cochise do wear tribal jewellry.
