This is exactly why I have a soft spot for Cowboy: his unconditional loyalty. And IDK why people say Cochise and Ajax were close, I always thought this scene proved that Ajax was close with Cowboy, and especially Snow (in the game). And it's a good thing Snow went with Cowboy. If it had been someone like Cochise, or even Vermin, they probably would have done something reckless to try and bust Ajax out. Snow seemed to be sensible about it and knew that the two of them and a cuffed Ajax would'nt have stood a chance against that handful of cops.
