As Conclave 09' fast approaches I have come up with one last thing to top the weekend off. This is only for 4 die hard fans! You along with 3 others will take a ride to the beach with the cast! Thats right, you, Swan, Vermin, Fox, Cleon, Snow and even an Orphan will travel from the convention in Secuacus to the Coney Island museum for the nights festivities. The van will be leaving the Holiday Inn in Secuacus around 6 pm. One thing I must stress is that this ride is only available for those attending the first showing. The cast is leaving IMMEDIATLY after the 2nd Q and A and returning to the Holiday Inn in Secuacus. So, the ride includes, transfers from the hotel in Jersey to the Museum with the cast, back and fourth. With the exception of Fox, who may be traveling back into Manhattan after the events. The cost for the ride is $50 per person. One of the other reasons we are doing this is to help with the costs of the van. Renting a big van is what it costs to rent an army invading a small country. I nearly fainted when I got the bill. Thus, I came up with this idea. A few rules are as follows- No autographs are allowed inside the van. No video or audio. Please keep in mind you are not going to be interviewing the cast for the 3 hour ride. Just small talk and good fun conversation. Believe me, the cast is the nicest bunch of actors one could ask for, no need to be nervous. One of the biggest perks of this ride is that you will also be allowed to sit in on the Second Q and A. Not just the first. But again, keep in mind. Once the second Q and A is done, you will be ushered into the van with the cast and we will be headed back to the Holiday Inn. I have decided to stop at 3 seats. I do not want to overload the van. So, that being said. I will more than likely have one seat maybe two Saturday. The day of the autograph show in Secaucus New Jersey please get a hold of me at around 4 pm and ask me about the ride. I will more than likely be with Michael Beck or Larry Storch, whom I manage. You can not miss me, tall guy, dirty blonde hair that sits on top of a big head. You can finds pictures of me by yahooing or googling me too. or you can simple ask somebody at the show. So, please no more emails regarding the van ride. As of now it is sold out. If you want to take the van with us, please find me Saturday at the convention and I will let you know if we can squeeze you in. The price will still be $50.

Hey Matt!

didja come to this decision because you found out that CAN YOU DIG IT is close to 8 feet tall, and nearly 600 pounds?

I think it was more like not over selling...

I need two tickets, for my wife and I...

Unlike a certin LONER who did get 1 ticket on the van...

And just to clear your thoughts, since my height and weight have become somewhat of a joke to you...

yeah, i really should have thought that joke through more fully, now that I realize i'll be locked in a van with ya!

I am 6"4 and used to weigh 250. Lucky I dropped about 40 of that. And it was becuase I did not want to oversell. And you never know if one of the gang wants to bring someone with them. chances are I'll have space. Ask me Saturday.

ah, after re-reading it appears (and certainly not for the first time ) that I've mis-read

When Matt said "Only one van ride ticket left.", that meant that two more tickets had sold.

The very next post was CYDI saying the he and his wife were "in", so I assumed that meant that those were the other two!

This means the other two have yet to identify themselves...
