I dont really get why my jewish gangsters are calling themselves the pharoes. We were enslaved in Egypt for 500 years. I'd go with the Maccabees. But hey if they made a wanderers game I would be reppin Pharoes colors. This makes me want to see the movie.  :)

does the special edition DVD have more special features than the regular DVD? I've been wanting it but I don't want to pay 20 bucks for a DVD with no special features besides the theatrical trailer.

LMAO I'd play that, so I could kick Daniels butt.
there was a Karate Kid game on old school nintendo, but you could only be Daniel. the golden age of movie licensed games

This thread has made me wanna watch The Wanderers, I haven't seen that film since the 80's.

I remember when I watched it I was kinda disappointed because I compared it to The Warriors and I didn't think it was anywhere near as good, but I reckon I would enjoy it if I watched it again now.

swan 1979 appears to be from Australia, so he may have been talking about The Wanderers - 25th Anniversary Limited Edition http://www.dvd.net.au/details.cgi?id=12305

Thanks for the link.

Yeah I did see this version but none of the sites I looked at list any extras other than the theatrical trailer?

I noticed above there was mention of a documentary which is the one I would want to get.

if you read his quote carefully, "...its got documentary during the movie by the director", he clearly meant to have written commentary, not documentary!

Just to warn anybody from the UK that is thinking of buying the DVD of 'The Wanderers', it seems there was a limited DVD release of the film in the UK a few years ago and now the film is hard to find. Because of this many sellers are selling a dutch import which has dutch subtitles that are impossible to turn off on some DVD players, unfortunately mine being one of them. Very annoying.
