Interesting idea. I'm sure there are a look of lurkers but they don't need to join as a member if they are just gonna look. If they don't post for 6 months or something I could see this. Opinions?

Sounds good. Get rid of them if they are MIA for 6 months, unless they tell u in advance like Swan did.
We're going in there like everybody else nine guys no weapons

i completely agree with this idea, 3 months and then out!

we now have an army of 250 odd members and most of them dont even post, has anyone seen page 4 of the memberlist? most on that page have never even posted, and the rest havent even gone over 30 posts apart from nativewarrior.

its okay if youre busy or have work but maybe it would be nice if they could let us know before they go m.i.a .

please consider rogues idea.

ya thanks bobo for the support. i mean there some members who come on to ask for 1 thing and then never post again, and some others have been on for like almost a year and have postes less than 10 times. besides isnt it cheaper to have less members

I'll set about deleting those members who have made no posts first of all and then see who's not posted in a while ...

I've now deleted all the no posters. I realise now that most of them signed up but failed to activate their accounts (e.g. they typed in their e-mail address wrong!).

I start on some of the low posters another time, but will keep it maintained.
