Karma

Karma is a way of giving "applaud" which is positive or "smite" which is negative to a member. As a result their karma rating goes up or down. Put it this way, someone might post an awesome picture, so you applaud them by giving them positive karma. If they post something that's bad, then you can give them negative karma.

You can only give karma when you have a minimum of 250 posts, though you can still receive karma.

The idea is to make people post well, else they face being given negative karma. You are allowed to give one piece of karma every hour, so use it wisely! This ensures that it is used correctly. The admin can post as much karma as they like since they have to trawl through everything.

In a nutshell, if you have a positive or large number, people like your posts. If you have a negative number, then people don't! High numbers would indicate people really really like you, and of course the opposite is true if you have a very very negative number. If you are on zero, don't worry, you are doing just fine!

i have done searching around but..... how do i give someone a karma?

It will say under someone's name and it says positive and negative you click one of them.

this sound stupid, but all i see is the karma number, i dont see positive ans negative, am i missing something or is it only warriors who can give karma

Same with me, I can only see 'Karma:0' and below that is their online status so if i'm looking at the wrong place tell me, but I can't see positive or negative.

I forgot to mention that you need 100 posts to be able to give karma, though you can still receive it! This prevents the noobs from causing havoc!

Nice one War cheif. Lucky i got one hundred but i wont go crazy puttin Karma on anything. I really like this feature.

can a user tell where the positive/negative karma comes from?

i just gave harley a positive karma!

This is a great new feature, going to be better when I can actually give karma out. But still i'm content with seeing what people think of me 
Is there any rule like if you get on a really high negative number you get banned or suspended or anything... or is it just there to make you feel good or bad inside  :p

There's no way of seeing where karma comes from. Though you might say "karma to you" in reply to a post so they know.

If someone has a lot of negative karma, then the mods will be able to identify people who might end up being banned but there are no limits where this would happen.

Karma is a status symbol which encourages people to post well.

Karma should not be given for the sake of it and should not be used for "average" posts.
