Unless the guy is so dedicated that he's had plastic surgery, I believe him, as that would be a dificult nose to fake!LIER ONE wrote: On another note, on TADPOLE's page (that tri posted), Is that the FURY the guy played??

Re: Post your Conclave and Megashow pics here!!
I didn't go to Coney Island (I didn't find out about until the day after), but went to the 30th Anniversary reunion in Secaucus,NJ the same weekend. I met the cast and all were very cool. All were signing for $20 each and had photos at their table included in the price or your own item signed for the same. Deborah (Mercy) was very appreciative of her fans and would talk to you all day. Michael (Swan) was nice, but a little more proper and appreciated his fans, but you can sense he didn't get why people liked the movie so much. Brian (Snow) was very quite and shy. Terry (Vermin) was very cool and down to earth. Tom (Fox) was nice. Dorsey (Cleon) was by far the nicest. I asked him how he was doing and said it was great to be alive. I joked saying that's great because you weren't alive in the movie for long. He laughed and said you can't prove he died in the film. I asked if he meant he was in the hospital for the rest of the movie and said no. He said he could have gotten up and was eating Thai food in the stands while everyone was running away. I had a cast photo signed by them and Dorsey said this is for you. Dorsey had Warriors shirts made up for this weekend. I said for free? He said he wouldn't feel right charging me $20 since I had my own photo signed and was the least he could do. He was a real class act. Apache Ramos'(Orphan) was a nice guy with a great sense of humor. His daughter was very sweet as well.

The q&a was real good. I asked if anyone got injured during the film and Deborah mentioned fracturing her wrist during the subway scene and getting hit in the forehead accidentally by a baseball bat that made her gush blood. She later had her hair combed over the cut. Apache and Terry mentioned how the crew accidentally put more explosives than they should have during the explosion scene and were lucky to be okay. Dorsey said how James Remar was a method actor and was always in character as Ajax and was hilarious. Tom was asked why he died so early and was not in the credits. Tom said because he was young and acted like an a-hole. He said Walter Hill was a great guy and have since patched things up. Tom said when Marcelino Sánchez (Rembrandt) died of AIDS, Walter went to his funeral. Tom said there was such a stigma about AIDS at the time and respected Walter for not being afraid to stand by Marcelino. Tom said Marcelino was a great person and did an incredible Donna Summers impersonation.
Terry explained how the graveyard scene hit him as wanting to be different from everyone else in the film. He wanted to be the comic relief since everyone else sounded the same all being tough guys. Apache said auditioned for the part and thought he wasn't going to get it since everyone was hispanic with afros like him. A guy sat next to him, asked him what he was drinking, Apache said rum and gave the guy some. The guy was Walter Hill and hired him because he was real. Michael mentioned how he had his arm in a cast from Walter a few days before filming. He was afraid he would lose the part if Walter saw the cast. I think he said it was from playing basketball. They were asked what they thought of the remake and Debra and Terry were very negative about it. Michael said he doesn't see fans of the original liking it but a young kids today will probably be into it. Dorsey said how there was nothing like the The Warriors at the time which made it stand out. He said gangs fighting with makeup on was a big risk. He said it had real elements mixed with comic book scenes that drew you in and you believed the world was real. I asked if Paramount gave them an actual premier and they said yes. Michael said it wasn't a big red carpet and tuxedo affair like a Brad Pitt movie, but it was great. He said there is nothing like seeing the film with an audience and having them yell back at the screen. It was a great experience. Here are some pics:

Were any photos taken during the first Q&A? Those in the slide show all appear to be from the second ...

Thanks for that one; I'm about the fifth row up but am quite blurry; my friend Steve (the guy who took all the Jersey photos I was in) is clearer ... this is before I moved down to the front for the actual Q&A session ... I wonder how the video of this event is coming along ...4nik8 wrote:it's a mix - this one, as an example, is from the first show:conan1982 wrote: Were any photos taken during the first Q&A?
