From an interview with the band;

Todd: Where'd the name of The Orphans come from?
Wade: We're all into The Warriors. Everyone wants to be the cool gang in The Warriors, but if you look at the Orphans, they were the dirtiest ones.
Todd: Are you guys going to try to play a show with the Baseball Furies and do a Warriors re-enactment?
Wade: I would be kind of stoked, but there's not really too many - The Baseball Furies. I like The Riffs from Portland.
Todd: I've always wondered if the Turbo AC's are just that retarded.
Wade: And not knowing it's Turnbull ACs. I'm thinking it is. I've seen a poster of them.

THe oprhans sound real cool. I heard there is a music group called the Baseball Furies

There's also a band called the Turnbull ACs. I think they are UK based.

There's also one called The Warriors.

I agree , most of them would be good band names , but the "punks" would be way too obvious lol . Thats like having a rock band and naming it "rock n roll" .

i think it would be cool if there were a band called the destroyers they might rock out loud i'm not sure but you never know unless you hear it for yourself you know

There's already a couple of bands with that name , one of them is George Thorogood and the Destroyers.

Now now, you dont want to be lookin for trouble now. lol (im not sure if those are the exact words from the afro dude from the Orphansbut its close enough.)
