Re: The Skating Thread
watched stoked last night..brilliant and disturbing! thanks for that chrismasonic
next on my list "Rising Son: The Legend of Christian Hosoi"
i stumbled across that looking for videos of Jay Adams ..like this millenium (Alava and Adams and apparantly Gator
[old footage?] are interviewed in the doc)
found some last night though
an interview and some footage of him skating a bowl in hawaii - the guy who owns and skates the bowl is 54... must tell my dad lol hes a kid at heart and i bet he wishes he was skating when i show him footage of Alva and Adams.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaTBLmWN3zs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocwoEKaMTMY
also seeing these interviews you can see how well hirsch picked up his mannerisms in lords.

do what i do, take a old pair of shoes and glue them to the board if your skitching then when your done, hide the board until you need to use it again or carry it with you but make sure you bring another pair of shoes and skitch on the back of buses so the driver cant see you if you wanna do it to strangers
