Yeah I kknow how you feel Juniper, I just finished registering for my senior year. They stuck me in fourth period FASHION/CLOTHING/SEWING!!! And they refuse to change my schedule, atleast not until the school year starts. All that stuff about how great high school is is crap.

I'm having such a great time being scared into deciding what I want to be when I grow up.

I just wanna get out and go to art school. Jeez.

You couldn't pay me all money in the world to go back to high school. If I were to die and go to hell I would be going back to high school! I think the whole experience warped me. Hey Mr. Rem if anything that sewing course you can try to make a Warrior vest (and maybe pick up a girl in the process hee hee). Art school is worth the wait, just hang in there and you'll make it. It was the best time in my life!

I got stuck in African American History.

I'm white as snow.

But not the Snow we know and love.

The snow that falls from the sky.

Not because Ajax convinced him he could fly if he tried hard enough.

Because I mean the weather snow.

That frozen stuff.

Yeah, I'll stop talking now.

Art school? Yeah, I'm trying to get into one, too. HIGH FIVE!

Our school is one of those paideia "advanced education" things, claiming to be of the arts and sciences but mostly dedicating itself to the sciences (and the sports)!

I'm a junior now, artist type, real good at English and Art classes, but... I'm having to work my ass off to get into art school. Why?

Simple, they force college level classes (Most people don't learn Algebra until College around here. We trudged through it in 9th grade.) on us, and with my consistent record of failing or near-failing math and science classes, with the progressively harder and harder classes, I'm having to work my arse off harder beyond my studies, got a year and a half to get the most killer portfolio I can get together, gotta damn near ACE the ACT, and I gotta pretty much sacrifice a ton of minor stuff I wanna do to get into a special honors art school around here. :) All this while having normal studies and busy work, while figuring out just how I'm gonna get in.

Splendiferously fun.

Sorry, folks. I don't like ranting in "public", but I just have to...

High school

I didn't mind my high school, my junior and senior years were the best, specially my senior year. I wouldn't go back, but I did enjoy them while I was there. ;)

Hey Dopefish, apparently people are either calculatory thinkers or artistic thinkers. I barely scraped by with C's all throughout the last semesters of Geometry and Algebra 2, and the whole year of Precalculus. No more math for me though! You only have to pass Algebra 2 so I went the extra mile so it would look good on transcripts. Oh well. Like you, flying colors in English, Languages (okay, B's....), Art, etc.

To me it seems more of a question of money...I'm working my butt off now and havent spent a single paycheck. Sucks that soon I'll have to start saving my tips too. :(

Where are you located? Which school(s) are you tring to get into? For me it's animation all the way (2D not that Toy Story-Finding Nemo crap)We should post some pics of warriors stuff on the site.

uuuuuh enough words of thinkers.

I have to deal with a teacher who gave us a Test on what kind of learners we are. Like shes gonna pay attention to it.

Economics though for me is a Bit easy to understand.

Plus they started hanging up posters for the Freshmen now.

"How to Pass Freshmen Year"
1.Study
2.arrive to class On time
3.Never Take Physics your First Year!

Derailing
the "N' train near Bay Ridge Avenue was so cool back than.
And Of course Going to Coney Island and Hanging out at the Beach, was so cool,I remember me and my
boys, getting chased by these guys and their Dogs, and to make matters worst These Truent Officers, looking for us,and it was scary, they almost had us surrounded!! we hide underneath the Boardwalk, before they closed it down.and escaped near this parking lot..Those were the day!!! 8)

my school used to be very crappy (which was a good thing and a bad thing) but its getting more strict which is going to be tough on a rebellious young man like me, punishments will get more severe when i take the piss out of teachers. years 7-9 are easy street but soon i will have to face my GCSEs after the summer holidays(only a week away!).

oh and by the way rogue, i can relate, i am in the bottom groups for maths, science and i forget the rest. they just dont take you seriously if you are different.

and my wit always goes unaprecciated at school, well with the teachers anyway, example-

mrs collett- SAUL, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU, GET TO WORK,LOOK AT YOU ITS 10 MINUTES INTO THE LESSON AND YOU HAVENT EVEN STARTED YOUR WORK, GET TO IT!!

me-holy crap!......you can talk!

HO..n  ki!!
