interesting choice.
I like him-in most everything he has done, in 1979 he was making Butch Cassidy and Sundance, The Early Years. He was 30 then, same age as Michael Beck.
-and I actually think he could have handled most of the characters we know. He certainly has the talent. While I couldn't see him as Rembrandt-and I wouldn't want to give up "my" MB's Swan--I think he could have shown the attitude of any of them, and given a great performance. But Cowboy, he would have fit, and I could see him playing Snowball(If you didn't worry/think about the inter-racial aspect, just the actor characterization) or Vermin too.

i think he had the body structure for snow yes as he did for vermin.it would have meant cowboy would have been more meaty
