Too bad this artist isn't doing the interior art for the book. That cover is awesome.

The covers of these comics have been keeping my attention. They are very well done so far.

Depends on if your comicbook store is willing to spend more that month. This is how free comicbook day works (speaking for the U.K; USA may be different). For the purpose of explanation, I shall use made up comicbook names. Publisher X is offering a certain ammount of a purposly made 8 page comicbook that ties in with their company's best seller. In order for your store to qualify for these freebies, they have to order a specific ammount of a poor seller from the same publisher; which will highly likely end up sitting in the back issue bin for years because no one is interested in them. Example; to get a pile of free "Generic mutant team" specials, the store would have to order 30 copies of the dire "Super skunk: the college days" which may only sell 2 issues. Your retailer would be spending an extra $45 of which he will make a 90% loss.Gezza wrote: hey guys do you think we can get this 'Ajax' comic in Australia? i really want to get it and even better it is freeeee!
This is just one example of how it works. Different rules for different comicbook publishers.
In this global financial downturn that we are in, Smaller independant stores will be less willing to take part.
It all depends on the individual store and what deals the publishers are offering. Some publishers will give away 20 free specials of "masked vigilante" if your store regularly orders 20 issues of "masked vigilante" monthly; but thats the minority situation.
