Is the elite console any better than the original, and who is getting one?

basically its the same with only a few minor changes


1)the colours different

2)twice the memory space (well ok this is quite a big change but not really)


so all-in-all i wont be getting one

I've only just got a normal 360 (which is awesome I might add) so I won't be forking up for one. They could have at least put the wireless adaptor with it!

you can actually get a package of the 360 where you get a wireless adaptor with it and it costs quite a bit but you can also get it on its own for £59.99! lol

only thing that makes ps3 better than the 360 is blu ray, other than that games are more or elss the same and so are graphics , never heard of this new 360 lol

I considered a PS3, but I chose the XBOX 360 because:

Loads more games available.
Games and console are cheaper.
Games on both consoles look better on the XBOX 360 at the moment (though they will eventually be better on PS3) - Gamespot have a photo comparison.
Rumble feature in gamepad.
Friends have 360 so I can borrow games

I also am not impressed by Sony in Europe removing backwards compatibility chips and not releasing the 80GB model.

It's just another way for them to make money and they will make more by making limited edition because poeple will want the more if they are L.E

I already have a ps3 and i think the xbox 360 elite has been rushed i think because the xbox 360 only came out 2 years ago.And it takes sony about 6 years and they make their consoles so good and the games are alot better on the playstation then the xbox.And i dont really care if the xbox 360 elite has 120GB the ps3 still has 60GB and that is just stupid putting 120GB On a console all microsoft is trying to do is compete with sony and they cant because playstation is just alot better.And the only good games they have on the xbox are the halo games i mean like they are just getting old now .And the new best game out and my favorite is resistance fall of man it is a bit like halo but alot better the story is so cool and the online is so good i am a mojor general on it i am really good at the game now 8).And so far i have not got one xbox and i have been getting the playstation console since i was little i have got every single playstation i have had the playstation 1 and the playstation2 but it broke and now i have the playstation 3 so i am never going to get an xbox i just think they are rubbish and they get rushed and not a enough effort into them i mean like the first xbox came out in 2001 and the xbox 360 came out in 2005 and now the xbox 360 elite has came out in 2007.And the first ever playstation 1 came out in 1995 and the playstation 2 came out in 2000 and then the playstation 3 came out last year i just think that sony puts alot more effort into their consoles then mircosoft and that the xbox consoles get rushed.

how can u say that, the ghames r more or less the same and the graphics are as far as im concerned wot makes ps3 better is blu ray thats it

i already got a psp so i wont be getting a slim one. my friend giles has a ps3 and 360 and he says that the ps3 is better. he says 360 has better games AT THE MOMENT, but eventually the ps3 will take over.
i can't believe a 360 wireless adapter is £59.99!!! ps3 has a built in one.
and as for cheaper games, both 360 games and ps3 games have the same RRP of £49.99.
