He Got Game, set in Coney Island
Just watched He Got Game, loads of the film is set on the boardwalk and around the fair, as the credits are rolling on the film the camera is panning around the board walk loads of great birds eye views and great shots of the wonder wheel and the rest of that area.

I watched Men in black 3, around a month ago. There's some scenes set in Coney and Will calls one guy "Cochise".

Little Fugitive (1953)
.
A seven-year-old Brooklyn kid (who erroneously thinks he's killed his prankster older brother) wanders through '50s Coney Island all by his lonesome—and in one fell swoop, this delicate independent movie reminds you of how confusing, painful, wonderful and glorious childhood can be. Not rated.

film's official tagline? (not too shabby!)

There are two versions of this; both available on Netflix streaming
I've not seen the 2005 remake, but the 1953 original is compelling, as long as you're in the right mood
There are long stretches of very little "activity", yet, for me, it worked!
I watched it late late at night, in a completely quiet house - mebbe that helped add to the experience

Just got done viewing "Little Fugitve" (1953 version). Awesome flick...
pure magic. Joey rocks! Here's a view of the Coney Island Boardwalk
20 to 25 years before "The Warriors" takes place. Totally amazing snapshot
in time.
