What are your plans for Christmas/New Year? My family is coming down from northern Iowa and on Christmas day, I'm watching all 24 hours of "The Christmas Story" on TBS or AMC, I don't really remember, haha. For New Years, I'll be watching the countdown, and at 12:01, I'll be watching The Warriors for my first time in 2011! :D What about you guys?

Christmas Eve, we always go to my grandparents' for dinner and gifts. On Christmas Day, me, my parents and my brother open our gifts to each other, and then we go to my aunts'.

This reply is mostly a copy and paste from my previous post 3 years ago

I predict it will be the usual christmas eve: head into town armed with cash and mistltoe.  Indulge in excessive drinking.  Make a fool of myself, make my way home in the cold and rain, collapse on the bed and pass out.  Wake up christmas day feeling a bit rough trying to recollect what i did the night before.  Stare at my empty wallet with a disheartend expression on my face. Spend the next few hours feeling like crap and telling myself "never again".   Read  all the text messages from friends who are also hungover.  Let the dog open a few presents and leave the ripped wrapping paper on the floor for the next few days (my dog opens everyones presents). Eat some christmas dinner, hoping it will cure my hangover whilst wishing that my world will end. Moan for a few hours that there's never anything good on TV.  Crash out on the sofa and watch a few dvds whilst eating a pizza.  Head into town the next day to pick up a few bargains in the sale.  Have a moan when i see all the things i bought as xmas presents a lot cheaper than what i payed for them.  I HATE CHRISTMAS!!!

Bah Humbug!

My christmas film recommendation for you low budget horror fans, is a 15 minute short called "TREEvenge".  Bleak and anti-festive.  Just be careful how you treat your tree after watching this.
