The Simpsons [Movie]
Re: The Simpsons [Movie]
Well warlord jp, if you think about it, it wasn't so much the storyline, but rather paying homage to something that became part of pop culture. You could say, its more of a tribute to the Simpsons phenomenon.

Marge:Take Spider-pig with you"

Re: The Simpsons [Movie]
I'm going to see it later today. I can't wait! Simpsons used to be my fave series, until it went down the crapper.
But, I'm more excited for the Dark Knight trailer before it. I'm a geek like that.

Re: The Simpsons [Movie]
i saw it
i stoped eatching the simpsons years ago
i enjoyed it
but i cant lie i dozed off for a few minutes (i was tired however i dont think it was the movie itself)
it was cool, i remeber all the people and it all made sense (worse for jess my gf who has never seen the simpsons, and had never seen family guy till she met me, huge fan now)
but it even got a few laughs outta here....for not knowing anyone in it
it boils down to a hour and a half long ep of the simpsons...it was cool....but like homer stats at the start "your all getting scrwed" for somthin i can see on tv
but if family guy did a movie that wasnt dirct to dvd, id go see it, why not...whats $8....
all and all ill give it 3...maybe 3 and a half stars
1/2

Re: The Simpsons [Movie]
I like the scene of Grandpa Simpson reading "Oatmeal Enthusiast" .......! That's what's great about the Simpsons. There's always lots of small lines and inside jokes that are easily missed.

I want to see it, but over here in Australia, it's only just came out and I'm pretty sure tickets will sell out easy.

Re: The Simpsons [Movie]
I'll be honest, I didn't like it.
There were some funny parts in the beginning, but it just dragged on and bored me half to death...
That's just my opinion though, don't assume that I'm right. Though me and my friends argued, it was about 50-50 for people who liked it and those who didn't (and one who fell asleep and stayed that way through most of the movie).
Enjoy the movie.

Re: The Simpsons [Movie]
I loved the movie! Saw it at an advance screening the night before it opened. The Kwik-E-Marts are really cool. I got the Radioactive man comic too. There was a contest held by the Simpsons company that picked one of the real springfields here in the states to be the official Springfield of The Simpsons.

I saw the movie yesterday, and I must admit I've expected it to be much funnier than it is.I would give it 6 out of 10.
