Because of the diamond-pattern, the vest takes on a medieval look, when accessorized appropriately

Thus, I shall endeavor to represent the Shire of Brooklyn, Clan of the Warriors, with honor, August 7, as I show reverence to Her Majesty, the Queen

Why, oh, why, am I not more embarrassed by this?!?!
