Fallout 3

Post by KissTheRain »

So who is all looking forward to it?

I'm a massive Fallout fan since I used to play it with my step brother and I even liked Fallout Tactics for a rainy day (Even though it was a totally different style)

What i'm looking forward to is the 'Oblivion' style gameplay with a massive world to explore. Enemies can jump out at any time with no warning. You could help other surviours, follow the storyline missions or simply walk around and loot places for armour and weapons.

There is just something that really excites me about this post nuclear war world. I think its because with games like Fallout and Oblivion, the worlds are so big and you can create the character to be exactly how you would want to be (Hell, I know i'd love to be a slim, toned, brave mutant hunter!) and you can really lose yourself in these worlds...

I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it  :D

I can't wait for this game to come out, I never really got into the Fallout series but I recently purchased Fallout Brotherhood of Steel for my PS2 but I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I really enjoy anything post-apocalyptic such as Mad Max, The Road Warrior, and theres a book out called Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank (oh it is soooooo good, I first read this my senior year of high school and fell in love with it) I read the GameInformer article about Fallout 3 and I can't wait to roam the wastelands doing whatever I want whether it be hunting mutants or saving the weak survivors, there is also that other game coming out too, I can't remember the name and it is using the same kind of gameplay style as Fallout 3 but it takes place on another planet, it looks pretty cool too but I haven't heard anything about it in awhile

I have to say Brotherhood of Steel for the PS2 isn't the best fall out game...it's not good really. The best one is Fallout two!
