Evil Driving Tests!

Post by KissTheRain »

So I had my first go at my driving test today. I was doing really really well too (In Scotland you can't have any 'Major' faults and less than 15 'minor' faults to pass and I hadn't had any at all)

It comes to the part where he wants me to reverse around a corner...and I clip the funking pavement!!

AUTOMATIC FAIL!!!

Gutted

anyone else had bad driving tests?

Nope, when I got mine 16 years ago, the guy that was testing me asked me if I was hungry and I said yes, he said, buy me lunch and I'll pass you, I did and he passed me.  That has been one of the best moments of my life.

I don't think you can speak to them through the driving test, they want your focus to be in the driving.  Nonetheless, they should realize that people get nervous, they should at least make them feel comfortable.

Well yeah but its not like I was going on like a parrot....I think all I did was comment on the fact it was starting to rain. I think being met with silence made me feel even more nervous.

4 weeks and counting to my next test!

You have to wait four weeks to take your test after you fail it? Wow thats pretty harsh, I had to wait two weeks after I failed my drivers test the first time but I think that was a state law though too. I wasn't happy about that because I automatically failed the first time because apparently I pulled in front of a car that just magically appeared while I was making a turn but the car I was using wasn't the best car ever either, it was a Kia Sephia that I borrowed from the driving school that I went to I hated that car with a passion, it nearly got me killed on the highway because the engine was pretty weak. I went back my second time with my uncle's car and I passed but the examiner wasn't super friendly, he told me " I could fail you and make you come back again but I'll be nice" but I think thats because my uncle's car was a Cadillac. Well good luck with your drivers test though.

Well we don't have to wait 4 weeks. We can book the test at the test center whenever we want but it really depends if the test centre could fit me in. 4 weeks time was the earliest I could get!

However now theres only 2 and a bit weeks and i'm shaking in my All Stars!
