The Warriors Movie Site Forum

Hi all
Just a little bit about myself. I first saw the warriors in the early-mid eightys while in my teens and just thought it was an excelent film as was involved in a local gang in Scotland at the time and found it interesting how gangs across the pond were diffrent to what I was used to (probably because of the size of town as I look back now).
After growing up and moving to london my interest in the warriors was reignited when i came across the directors cut in HMV and then shortly after Rockstar released the game which i thought they did a great job in keeping it true to the film and also padding it out to make it last.have also in my collection the novel by Sol Yurik which i am just re-reading at the moment.
I recently found this site one day when bored surfing the net and thought the content and fan fiction i found extremely interesting. After a couple of weeks of lurking I have finaly got the courage up to join and hopefully I can make a worthy contribution.

Hey mate, you sound just like us, most of us saw the movie when it was released, we were only 14 or so but got into the movies and saw it 3 nights running. Have seen it tons of times since and we just wrote our own tribute song out of respect, we dig the movie that much. There is nothing else like it!
