I think that in a film where every character is crucial that snow and cowboy's role is far too small

When you're talking about a film with so many characters, there's just no way you can give enough screen time to each and every one of them. I think they did a good job of establishing the personalities of the warriors, though. It would have been cool to learn the histories and backstory of each of them, but there just wasn't time.

thats sort of why rockstar made the game,to make up a backstory of each of them

yea fox was a bit neglected. also if your snow you only get to play as him once in the story(if your one player) and that sux. It's weird actually, if you play the game before you watch the movie you get alot more involved and "into" the characters more, alot more backbone. Its almost as if the games the prequel.

Yeah i think that snow should do more fighting because he really looked good in the punks fight so i would like to see him fight more. And the same with cowboy i wish he would do more in the movie because cowboy is cool.

Even though their rolls were small, they did have impact. Cowboy's role is just to play cool, but like Snow, they both came out big at the end when they fought the Punks.

i agreee LIONS they both have 'small' roles within the film but towards the end (e.g the punks fight) they get their big moments also they each gave their own little moments in other parts but the punks fight MAIN part

I would say all of The Warriors all have their moments, atleast you get to see them more even they don't do alot in the scenes. It was funny to see that Cowboy got beaten by a Baseball Fury and as the fight was over Cowboy had to be picked noticing he realised that it was embarassing. Snow and Cowboy should of atleast said a few more words, but that's how it goes when you have alot of them running around.

I would have enjoyed a fuller background on the gang as a whole. However, as others have said before, there apparently wasn't enough time.
I love the suspenseful, fast-paced nature of the film as it is, though, and any sizable effort to tell the history of the gang before Cyrus's assassination might have ruined that feeling.

To be perfectly honest I think that there was enough done with the character's, to have tried to make other character's parts larger or to try and go into more detail about them would have taken away from the overall film and probably made it all seem a bit messy. Yes they don't get allot but you get an understanding of snow and cowboy and their standing within the gang which has managed to endeared them to people who then wish they could have learnt more about them. The question you have to ask yourself is if there was more on all the character's would the film have been as good as it is with all that extra padding instead of the fast paced action film we all love.?
