I bought the Warriors on ps2 for my husband (as it was the only game that looked any good... I usually play final fantasy rpgs only)

anyways then I saw the dvd, and it looked sooo 70s /80s kitch!

so i got it

well hubby misplaced it and i found it the other day (7 months later) and watched it
IM OBSESSED!
ITS MY NEW FAVOURITE MOVIE!

its insane
ive been playing the game every single night i play another level. im addicted. i cant believe how amazing the movie is

im ordering the soudntrack and novel, and want to go to nyc in 09 for the walk and everything!!!!!

I hate how ajax got caught, and it bugs me that fox got killed, and cleon too
! i would have liked them all to live!

and get away!
guess they had no choice with fox.

As you can see i'm a newbie here,Was going to start a new thread but i can imagine that gets quite anoying so thought i'd post on this one  Anyway about me,Ive always been a fan of the movie but lately my interest has been re-ignited while playing the new PSP version of the game,Im about 25% into the story mode and i'm absolutly loving it,So ive now brought the Directors Cut Edition dvd of Ebay (Had it on video somewhere before) And hopefully coming tommorow so i cant wait to watch the movie again,Thats about it for now,So looking forward to spending a bit of time on these forums talking to all you fellow Warriors fans 
And just thought id say the main website (thewarriorsmovie.co.uk) is very impressive,Good work,

Hey im new too and its good to see lots of Aussies in here 
Ive loved the movie for ages andmy bf has the game but I dont want to play it,
i guess some people think of it as an extension of the movie but i dont want to ruin the movie
by associating it with anything else, if anyone knows what i mean. I just love the atmosphere of the
movie and the game seems abit different to it.

no it wont change your opinion about the movie it will make you wann play the game alot more though i beat the game 30 times 100% complate 4 on unleash the fury and im still always playing on the hardest mode everytime i play but its like the easy mode to me now lol but seriously try it out its the best game on earth

Hello! I'm Hinton. (BTW Girl though. O_O) I absolutely LOVE Hinton from the Dominators. XD

Heres my journey with The Warriors.:

I saw the game at first.

I saw the commercials and stuff and was like, "Eh...not my style...."

Then a couple months l8er, my mom's 'friend', left his things in our basement. A whole bunch of games was in a box and I happen to run across, *DAH DAH DAH!*

The Warriors on PS2.

I played it and automatically got into it.

Sadly...I had to give back the game....Jackhole....lol.

The movie I saw second.

Happened to see the original version online.

Oddly, I got the game again, this time for good, for XBOX. I WAS SO FRIGGIN' HAPPY! 

Next, the book by Sol Yurick. Ended up getting that for X-Mas. AWESOMENESS!!!! 

Read that book atleast 7 times in row....I think...lol.

Then I rented the Director's Cut and here I am. I LOVE THE WARRIORS SO MUCH NOW, I CAN REMEMBER QUOTES FROM THE GAME IN ALL LEVELS! O_O''' I'm nuts I know.

I hated that Cleon, Ajax, and Fox were out of the gang. They rocked so WHY? WHY?!

It's good to see that the game has led people to watching the movie and enjoying it.

I have just started playing the game again, I completed it a couple of years back but have not touched it since, so it's good to play it again.
