Is it just me or does Ajax seem to be a sort of role model for other gang stories par example:

Green Street Bovver seems to be a simmilar characther to Ajax and i read a book once called tribes (not a copy of the warriors) which had a character like Ajax as well.

Much like Dally from The Outsiders? In The Outsiders they had groups full of Ajax type guys, like the Tim Shepard Outfit.

It's a possibility. I never gave it much thought. But I would say he did.

Every group has an Ajax. Heck, I'm the Ajax of my family.

I suppose every story about a certain group, always has that member that is the most stubborn and doesn't care about his action on breaking the law.  The same thing goes for Walter Hill's "The Long Riders" Dennis Quaid was the member who did not think things through, and was irrational.  Basically its Walter Hills western version of the Warriors.  All groups no matter what they stand for, always has members like Ajax, the same goes for the rest of the members.

In the movie Surf Nazis Must Die, the Surf Nazis have a member who is alot like Ajax. His name is Hook, and he acts almost exactly like Ajax.

well every group has an ajax type character stubborn crude dosnt care about breaking a law just like in lord of the rings gimli is the sort of ajax type not caring abut people that much (e.g "let him rot why should we care") that when he said about froso..............see what i mean??
