Hi all, have been scanning the the site and it is amazing,Some of the graphics and art work are incredible.I originally posted this in first seen in 79 but i wanted to introduce myself and say hello.
First off let me say hello to everyone and thank you for this site.
I dont remember the exact year i first saw the movie but it had to be early 80's,it was halloween night and it was playing on cable for the first time.Myself and a few other neighbor kids got together at the Bayers house across the street to watch it.We sat mezmerised for 2 hours nobody saying a word, and all went home speechless and exhausted.I remember going home and immediatly grabbing the cable guide to see when it was on again so i could expeirence it again,to make sure i had really saw what i had saw-i was blown away!I spent the next few years scanning the cable and tv guides for every opportunity to see it again-sometimes having to set my alarm to wake up in the middle of the night if it was on late.Anyways i dont want to ramble to much as this is my first post and i bet many have similar stories. Thanks for listening to a great memory and again thanks for this forum.
