Ultimate directors cut

Post by union_jack »

been playing the game (lonving it) and decided to order a copy of the film - the ultimate directors cut. but reading up on it it sounds kinda crap - deleted scenes everybody hates and some crap about comic strip scene transitions.

anyway ive ordered it but it sounds like the film has been ruined.

im sure you guys would be going ape-sh*t about now if it had been so i guess not.

do u recommend getting an origional or summin

opinions and stuff would be useful,

cheers

If you like the game so much, and think the movie got ruined, then go to the game forum.

I don't really think it got ruined, but lots of people do. I don't mind the Comic-book transitions, and I don't know what your talking about with deleted scenes. Like Warrior2k6 said, you get to see the movie. I'd say if you want a more realistic version, then get the original. But, if you want a little more of a fantasy feel get the Directors Cut.

Well as long as you get to see the actual movie, then that's all that matters. But like trixter468 said, get the original if you don't like the comic-book transitions.

i didnt think the new bits thrown into the directors cut were that much of a hinderance, but the bonus features made it very worthwhile

There wasn't anything at all wrong with the comic book transitions. It was not "ruined" at all...the only complaint I have is that the ending of them all walking down the beach should not have been cut.

I personally did not like the Director's Cut.I'm all for adding elements to a movie if it helps the overall film, but to me the comic book add on seemed unnecessary to me.

I just watched this version. Never watched the original one, but despite the comic-book stuff, what's the difference?
